While most AI Agent debates focus on which model is best, an open-source project quietly emerged in early 2026 with a growth curve unlike anything before — Hermes Agent by Nous Research. What Is Hermes Agent?

Security Considerations
Like any AI Agent with shell access, browser, and messaging permissions, Hermes carries risks that need to be managed:
